On September 8, 1938, a small group of Christian men and women
assembled themselves for the purpose of organizing a church. Those
present who wished to unite with the church by Christian experience
were given the Right Hand of Fellowship. Twenty-seven names were
recorded. A committee of three selected the name NEW LIBERTY
BAPTIST CHURCH, and a motion prevailed that the church would be
so named.

Welcome to New Liberty, a congregation of Jesus Christ seeking to know Him and
make Him known. God has blessed this congregation with growth, love and a growing
